If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise!!!

Mrs Taylor took Year 1 on a discovery walk to Corbar Woods. The children were 'palaeontologists' for the morning, digging to see if they could find any dinosaur remains.

To end the exciting 'Planet Dinosaur' topic, the groups had a designated area to see if they could unearth any dinosaur bones or fossils. It was great to see the enthusiasm as artefacts were discovered and the children thought about what dinosaur the teeth may have come from; carnivores or herbivours.
