Map Quest Triumph

ST ANNE'S WIN SILVER AND GOLD

Some of our Year 2 pupils attended Map Quest, a fun orienteering event for primary aged pupils, in Buxton Pavilion Gardens.

The children competed in teams of three. Each team was given a map and asked to find pictures of animals hidden around the park, represented by numbers on a map. Children returned to the base tent after they had found each animal to be told which number to go for next.

Of all the children who participated from across the High Peak area, St. Anne’s won both silver and gold. Congratulations to our gold winners: Taylor Mann, Grace Garner and Reuben Clay and also to our silver winners: Archie Cottrill, Isla Francis and Liam Taylor.

Well done to all our competitors who showed great team spirit.

A huge thankyou to Mrs. Delli-Colli, Mrs. Horan, Mrs. Cox, Mrs. Millward and Mrs. Montgomery- White for supporting our teams on the day.
